I am going to make this quick. Politico just received an internal memo from the Senate Republicans that can be politely described as putting lipstick on a pig. This was released to possible donors to induce them to donate to Senate Republican candidates. Here were the current standings (D names only):
AR: 47/42 (D +5) — Gallego
MD: 49/41 (D +8) — Alsobrooks
MI: 46/38 (D +8) — Slotkin
MT: 44/48 (R +4) — Tester
NV: 43/36 (D +7) — Cortez Master
OH: 45/39 (D +6) — Sherrod Brown
PA: 48/46 (D +2) — Casey
TX: 47/48 (R +1) — Alred
WI: 46/45 (D +1) — Baldwin
Notice how many Dem candidates are in the lead? Look how close TX is (Colin Alred’s the D candidate).
If I were a conservative, I would have spit out my drink.
Alred is in the running to defeat Cruz.
Tester in MT is not in as bad a shape as we thought. (There is an abortion amendment this year in MT).
OH looks good for Brown. Yeah, he’s spending money. Kamala has over $1 billion.
Here are their numbers for the Presidential Race:
AZ: 47/47 (EVEN)
MD: 61/32 (D +29)
MI: 45/42 (D +3)
MT: 40/57 (R +17)
NV: 46/46 (EVEN)
OH: 43/47 (R +4)
PA: 49/48 (D +1)
TX: 45/50 (R +5)
WI: 45/46 (R +1)
As of this memo, Harris has 271 already. She and Tim Walz are going to be blitzing WI/MI/PA this week. Also, this is a REPUBLICAN internal memo. Things just might be just a little bit better than this.
If you look at the memo, please review the trend lines. For the most part, Harris’ trend lines are good, while Cheetolini’s are flat.
As Simon Rosenberg might say, “I would rather be us than them.”
Take a look at the Ohio numbers. Something tells me that the Springfield stuff is not helping.
Politico: Senate Leadership Fund Memo
This counters all of the “bed wetting” polls that were released today.
Media polls are garbage.
Work. Work. Work.
