The blockbuster story from The Guardian has made things abundantly clearer for me, not that I was going to support the combed-over fascist that is the Republican Party nominee for President of the United States. It illuminates how Donald J. Trump would rule this country and many smaller countries that he feels would “get in his way”.
To elaborate, The Guardian news site has just released a bombshell of a story concerning the Federal Bureau of Investigations. The story is entitled, 'The FBI is Trumpland': anti-Clinton atmosphere spurred leaks, sources say. This is about the letter release last week by FBI Director James Comey. In it, he stated that there could be some pertinent information about a previous investigation of Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party nominee for President of the United States, on a laptop owned by the husband of an aide of hers, Huma Abedin concerning possible e-mails from a server that was thought to be used in violation of government rules regarding the security of classified materials from the State Department. That investigation has yielded no fruit, but that hasn’t stopped some in the FBI from trying to tip the apple cart.
The Guardian investigation is quite sound. It details how some members of the FBI flat-out are trying to undercut Hillary Clinton’s chances to become President. As far as I am concerned, this is an attempt at a kind of bloodless coup d'état.
We have the largest and most powerful criminal investigative agency trying to influence an election to elevate a self-professed strong man as head of the most powerful country in the world. This person, Mr. Trump, is a man of immense hatred and a long memory for those he feels have wronged him. Many people have compared him to Hitler. Imagine now, if this man becomes President, how he will use this powerful arm of law enforcement to accomplish his stated aims in his campaign.
Donald Trump wants to deport millions of immigrants from this country. He has called Mexicans rapists and criminals. Accused federal judges of Mexican descent of being biased against him due to their ethnicity. A judge, by the way, who is presiding over a fraud case this month against him. He blames them for crime in this country. He hates them. It’s as plain as the nose on your face.
It has been said that all of Trump’s enemies will have to bow before him after the election if he wins.

Now imagine a law enforcement agency large enough and powerful enough to make them bow.
What else would they be capable of?
The director has released a report on recent crime in this country based on “The Ferguson effect”. This is a response to clashes with law enforcement over unarmed African-Americans being gunned down by police officers over the past few years. It’s named after Ferguson, Missouri, where riots broke out because a young, unarmed, African-American man was killed by a police officer. This “effect" is an idea to de-legitimize burgeoning movements like “Black Lives Matter” that try to empower African-Americans in this country to keep them from being taken down and put into a level of second-class citizenship. African-Americans are often referred to as “the blacks” by Trump. This is also a group of people that have been discriminated against by this man time and again through his real estate ventures. What happens if this man gets into office and lets law enforcement loose?
Hitler had his brown shirts. They were not an especially large group, but they had power. We now know, according to this article, that Donald would have the support of large parts of the FBI. In a year (and with his Attorney General Rudy Giuliani replacing the dissenters), perhaps all of it.

I truly believe that this has now become a fight for the very soul of this nation.
There is a way to keep this from happening. It’s called voting. There is an election on November 8th. Do what you can to get out there and make your voice heard.
