FBI texts are the next big news item, not the truth.

Get ready for more tweets. The one thing that the news is breaking about the inspector general’s report on James Comey and how he handled the Clinton e-mail investigation is this…

One example cited in the new report is an email exchange between Strzok and Page on Aug. 8, 2016. Page questioned whether Trump would become president. Strzok replied: “No. No he’s not. We’ll stop it.”

Comey Broke From FBI Procedures in Clinton Probe, Watchdog Finds” by Chris Strohm, Bloomberg.com 6/14/2018

Forget the fact that Peter Strozk and Lisa Page were fired, yes, fired, a year ago from the Russia investigation when Robert Mueller learned about this at the beginning of it (and most likely got all of their contributions fact-checked to the end of time). Forget the fact that the general’s report states that James Comey went too far in restarting the Clinton investigation. Forget all of that. What Trump’s cult will hear is this…

“IG report on Clinton email probe reveals FBI agent's 'stop'-Trump text, calls Comey 'insubordinate'”

It’s Fox News. I am not giving you guys the link to that.

And then there’s this…

Why did the Washington Post (and other media sources) report old news supporting Trump?

The only good news out of this is that Rod Rosenstein had cause to support Comey’s firing, just not the reason Trump wanted.

I hope that the Democrats fight back like banshees, but I am not holding my breath.

Write your congresspeople, people. Senators, too. Let ‘er rip.

Oh, and Get Out And Vote!

My emphasis.
